My Process

Working together

My work is honest, raw, and boldly expressive. It also embraces human softness and unabashed sincerity.

Every session with me is a collaboration between two artists. Together, we'll create images that capture your uniqueness. We don't put you in a formulaic boxwe celebrate the qualities only you can bring to your work.

The photos are specifically designed for the TV/film and theatre markets in NYC and I take an artful approach to making striking images that stand out and book you work.

I also create artistic portraits for dancers, musicians, and creatives of all kinds.

I. Headshots with intention

I draw on two decades of experience in the performing arts to create headshots with strategy behind them. Every creative choice is guided by what you need your photos to do for you.

We’ll talk about the nuances of your casting, your past work, and where you’re headed next. With that as our foundation, the photos become more than just professional imagesthey capture your vibe, your taste, and the essence of what you bring to your work as an artist.

II. More than just traditional photos

These days, most of us need a portfolio of multiple images that work on different platforms—casting sites, professional websites, agent databases, IMDb profiles, social media, playbill bios, gig announcements, and more. It’s not just about having a couple of traditional headshots anymore, so it's my mission to deliver a range of striking, versatile images that grab attention in different contexts.

III. A relaxed shoot experience

We don’t rush. My sessions are intentionally longer and more relaxed, giving us time to explore different possibilities. This slower pace allows us to create variety—so you leave with more options to choose from.

We’ll meet at my comfortable and spacious studio and ease into the session. You’ll have the freedom to bring your artistry, while I guide and support you through every step. We’ll experiment with ideas, play good music, and—yes—snacks are always welcome.

IV. Preparing together

Before the shoot, I’ll send you guidance and materials so you feel ready and relaxed. Photoshoots can sometimes feel stressful, and preparation is the best way to feel at ease.

I work with a limited number of artists each month to ensure the best experience, so early booking is encouraged.

I look forward to working with you!
